Good Morning furbuddies,  its been a busy week.  Mom has started working on selling on eBay.  She's been working on getting the photos just right. I've had to put my paw down and get very vocal for some attention.  Conor went back to school and its been very quiet.  I make sure he loves on me when he gets home.  The scary holidays are coming and its not safe for my fellow black cats.  What do you do on the Scary Holiday.  Are you kept in your carrier or do you stay in a quiet room.  I take over the bedroom but mom says we don't get a lot of kids at our door.  Oh and mom makes sure all the yummy cellophane wrappers are put away.  She calls me a cellophane junkie. Good Morning my fur buddies, its been crazy around here.  I'm hearing my boy is going back to semi-regular school and wont be home so much.  That means no more morning lap petting where I jump into his lap and demand to be petted. I do not like change and mom knows this and yet she does it to me again.  Mom scared me last week.  She was on the talky box a lot and that is not normal.  She's only on it when she calls those screaming van people.  She saw my look and said no Frankie no ambulance just my new appointment.  Yes that means I will be at the VA a long time.  I hate the VA mom they keep you a long time and I want my MOMMY!!!!  Hoomans need to understand do not leave us for long periods of time.  My friends do you have this problem with your hoomans and staff plmk.  How do you punish them? I need a new technique to try on mom.

Conor's Crispy German Pork Chops

Good Afternoon dear readers, conor helped me out this week. He wanted to cook a new German recipe.  Conor's big on the meat recipes and this one is no different.  We got to use our electric skillet but you can use a regular skillet.  This turned out so crispy and good you will love it.  We altered this recipe from recipelion to fit my families needs.  So here's what you'll need.

1 package of pork chops bone in or not-trim the fat

1 1/2 cups of bread crumbs

3 eggs

1 tsp seasoning salt

vegetable oil for frying

trim the fat off the pork chops.  Mix eggs with a little water in a bowl.  Place bread crumbs on plate. Roll pork chops in bread crumbs and then dip in egg and roll in bread crumbs again.  Heat oil in skillet if electric set to 340 degrees. Put enough oil in skillet to cover the bottom of skillet.  Place pork chops in skillet and cook on each side until brown and done through.  Serve with your favourite vegetable and salad.

Free Will Thrift Store-more limoge and craft projects

Good Morning dear readers,  I feel like I'm back to my old self.  The headaches are under control and possibly due to my ptsd.  Love doing all the thrifting and I have a lot to share will do it little by little.  I paid a visit to women's empowerment their actual name is free will.  There actually run by women's empowerment.  This place is full of lots of goodies.  I can always find more Limoges.  This piece was made by T & V Limoges France with a Liberty Bell graphic. This mark represents Tressermann & Vogt in Limoges France circa 1907-1919. You can find out all about the marks in the Kovels new book. I just love the delicate look of this tea cup and the lovely flowers.  Is the picture quality good plmk getting ready for eBay. Still having problems with the camera phone aspect.

This following item had been calling to me for awhile.  I realized it had holly and ivy leaves just perfect for upcycling with craft books. Can you image this with some pretty vintage bling.

Upcycling Springtime to Halloween Haunted Birdhouse

Good morning dear readers, I've kinda got the headache under control.  So I was able to finish my haunted birdhouse and it was a lot of fun to play with your kids are gonna love it. You can find a lot of the items at walmart or amazon or even check your stash.  I found the birdhouse at one of my thrifting hauls it was made to look like spring. That did not sit well with me.  I wanted to make it look like Halloween.  When your finished it will look like this photo.

This is want it looked like before the makeover.

To achieve this look you'll need the following:

Birdhouse 

Halloween colors

Halloween collage images

plastic skeletons

day of the dead stickers

orange or black pebbles 

spider webbing in Halloween colors I used purple they were out of black

glue gun

modpodge glue

paint brush 

gesso 

sandpaper

First off sand the birdhouse to smooth out glue areas and cover with gesso.

Then paint in stages 

Then make sure your collage elements and webbing fit your birdhouse.

Add all your elements using modpodege or glue gun

Once everything is done drying your finished.

Good Morning fur buddies another week has gone by.   I've been informed by the mom boy will be going back to regular school no more independent study.  It has helped him get his math up there but not much else.  So he's going to try another school that will help him get his diploma plus get an associates degree in entrepeurship (whatever that is).  All I know is he wont be here to love on me when I want him too.  Mom's always working on stuff.  Her craft stuff and photo stuff get in the way of my petting sessions.  I thought I'd help her yesterday with her haunted birdhouse.  I ended up getting a bath cause I got orange paint on my paws.  I just wanted to paint the birdie house too.  You see she gets mad.  Then I wanted to play with the pretty pearl beads for her tea cup craft that got a dirty look.  She says when we get a house their will be a craft room with a door and no one will bother her.  I'll just sit their and yowl until she opens the door.  Check out the collage thats going on the birdhouse its called bone jet named after a singer called Joan Jett.  Well here's the photos for Athenas hop hope you enjoy them have a great labor day weekend
