Creamy Beef and Noodles

Good Afernoon dear readers,  I was looking for a nice comfort food recipe to go with this cold weather.  This is the type of recipe you sit down and relax and watch you favourite show while eating.  I love to clip recipes from magazines.  This one came from an old taste of home recipe that I altered a lot and added some new items.  This is partly cooked in the crock pot or you can do stove top for faster cooking time.  Here's what you'll need:

2 lbs tip steak very thin-cut into chunks
1/2 teaspoon salt
pinch of black pepper
2 tbs canola oil
1 can condensed cream of celery soup
1 cup dried onions-you can use fresh
1 cup 2% milk
8 oz. package sour cream
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon thyme
6 cups egg noodles

Take your steak that's been cut into chunks and brown in skillet coated with cooking oil.  While cooking season with salt and pepper.  Combine soup, milk, onions, oregano and thyme.  Put browned meat in your crock pot 3-5 qt size pour soup mixture over it.  Cover and cook on high for 3-4 or until tender.  Cook noodles according to package direction.  Serve beef over noodles. Bon appetite.
