Frugal Family Creamy Noodles

Good Morning dear readers,  This week we are doing a frugal family recipe.  If you have days where you go meatless this is the go to recipe.  These noodles can be served with bread and salad for a perfect dinner.  This is so easy the kids can cook it.  In fact Kyles cooked it for a school assignment.  I've even made it for a potluck dinner and everyone loved it.  Another good thing you can spice it up.  I've left out the hot stuff because the boys are not keen on it, but if you like hot you can add them.  So here's what you'll need. This recipe is another one from an old Taste of Home magazine and its been adapted to fit my family.

8 ounces uncooked spaghetti
1 tablespoon minced garlic
3 tablespoons butter
6 ounces cream cheese
3 tablespoons sour cream
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
4 1/2 teaspoons parsley
2 Tbs milk

here's the omitted ingredients
1/4 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
1/4 teaspoon white pepper

Cook spaghetti according to directions.  While that's cooking saute garlic in 1 tablespoon of butter until done.  Then add all the other spices and creams except parsley to the mix heat up do not let it boil.  Set aside when done.  Drain your noodles and add sauce to noodles mixing it all up.  Add your parsley and mix then serve with your side dishes. Note when I took the pictures forgot to add parsley until after photos.
