Frugal Family Food--Moo Shu Wraps

(contains amazon affiliated links see disclosure in footer)
Good Afternoon dear readers,  Sorry food post have been off schedule this week.  It's still been pretty crazy around here. Your gonna love this recipe its really easy with the short cuts I've taken to insure it's that way. If you want your kids to eat veggies give them the wraps.  They will love them.  My son Conor is not a big veggie eater and he loves these wraps. I found the recipe in Family Circle magazine and I've adapted it to fit my family.  So here it goes and this is what you need.

this can be made with pork or chicken

use 1 lb boneless pork chops cut into strips/ I used Tyson grilled and ready diced chicken
2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 small head cabbage cored and shredded/ I used a bag of Cole slaw same thing
1 bag shredded carrots 8oz
4 scallions sliced/ could not find used regular onions or have even made it without onions
1/3 cup Hoisin plus 2 tbsp
12 wraps or traditional tortillas

Mix 1 tbsp of soy sauce with your meat.  While your doing that let your skillet/wok heat up the oil.  When ready cook meat until no longer pink or if using frozen until heated through.  Remove from pan and keep warm.

Add your vegetables to skillet/wok using only half onion if using them.   Cover and let cook for 3-4 minutes.
Uncover and stirring let cook 5 more minutes.

Next return meat to pan adding the 1/3 cup hoisin and last tablespoon of soy sauce to mixture stirring constantly to keep from burning.  Cook 2 minutes.

Next warm tortillas either in microwave for 30 seconds or until warm in frying pan.

Take basting brush and put hoisin on tortillas and you can add onions if you used them and put meat/veggie mix in tortilla bon appetite and enjoy.

Sorry no series of pictures camera ran out of juice yesterday when I made them.  Still had some today so here it is the final product.

These items make it easy to make this recipe
