Here at Last Upcycled Xmas Picture Frame

Good morning dear readers, the picture frame is finally done to my picky tastes.  I know, I know it should have been done ages ago but I wanted it to be perfect.  Been reading some lovely books on upcycling frames and using vintage pieces and just love it.  The paints I found are just really cool glitter acrylic paints.  They make every thing glow especially a christmas project. So here's what I used.

Frame found at thrift store-it kept calling to me so to speak
Folk Art Extreme Glitter Paint in Red, Silver and Green
Vintage Jewelry Pieces found at thrift store (you can find pieces similar at etsy or even amazon)
Glue Gun and sticks
Family Photo, Favourite Xmas Card or Fantasy Photo to put into frame coming later

I started out my painting the frame silver and letting it dry for several hours.  Then worked on the berries and let them dry for several hours.  The hardest one was the green paint kept coming out not dark enough so had to keep adding coats to it to where I was satisfied.  Once all dried go back over areas with bleed through and repaint.  Then glue vintage bits to frame and let dry. Once done you can add a family holiday photo, favourite card or fantasy card (saw some lovely leaning tree cards at grocery outlet).  This was a lot  of fun see what you can do with a frame.

Here are my recommendations to help you make your own frame craft:

Caturday Art-Snowshoe Blue/Green Graffiti Kitty

(contains affiliated links see disclosure in footer)
Good Morning furbuddies, sorry for delay mom said my photo was too sad.  So she took one of my old ones what she calls my glamour shot photos and turned it into art.  It's been a good week.  So I don't have a lot of snarky comments. I got pampered and petted everyone felt good.  I got to sit in my homemade sauna so my bad nose wouldn't act up.  The only thing I didn't like the family went to something called the international grocery store.  They were talking about squid and alligator. I want me some of that alligator meat.  Mom had to be a party pooper of course and say no.  I had a nice surprise this morning my girlfriend stopped bye, but mom wouldn't let her in the house. Do your neighbor cats come and visit you? Do your pet parents let them inside?

Good Morning foodies, I am back.  Sorry I have been gone so long.  I had a change in my medical diagnosis and a lot of problems having the doctors figure out what was going on with me.  Long story short I have migraines and am now on the proper meds. No more running to the ER in the middle of the night.  Let's get to it. This is my favourite time of year love all the holiday cooking.  I feel its the best way of showing your family love.  Your put your heart in your cooking.  This recipe doesn't take a lot of time so if you can't stand or have trouble with your hands this works great.  Here's what you'll need:

2- Small cans butter milk biscuits or use any kind you like
sour cream
bag of precooked bacon bits
frozen diced onions
cooking spray

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
spray cooking pan with spray

Quarter all biscuits place in a mixing bowl.  Add in one cup of sour cream blend it all up.  Then add in 1 cup onions  and add as much bacon as you would like then mix it up.  Then place in pre-sprayed pan.  You can sprinkle bacon bits on top to make it more bacony.  Place in oven let cook 20-25 until brown.  Bon Appetite.

A little English, Irish,German pottery thrifting haul

Good Morning everyone, here's one of the thrifting hauls that have been on hold for a while.  Feeling almost like my old self again and these pieces are just lovely to share with you.  So lets get started, they are 3 pieces of various porcelain and stone ware.

This first piece is from England and comes from the J &G Meakin Company and the pattern is called Blossom Time Ironstone. Sorry could not find much info on the company its through the royal staffordford company.

This bell is marked wade porcelain made in Ireland  only thing I found out company was around in the 1970's. Can't find where I saw that originally sorry guys. The bell depicts Bunratty Castle which has been completely restored and is associated with William Penn founder of Pennsylvania.

                                                        Here's the mark

This is a lovely porcelain tray made in Germany and it depicts Balance Rock.  It was made for a company called Joslin's in Colorado.  I couldn't find anything on this company but thought this was pretty.

This is the makers mark.

That's it for now more will be coming soon. Yes, new sale this coming weekend plus items that haven't been shared from previous sales.
